Questions we hear

Something else on your mind? Call or email our Texas team directly.

What's the difference between a coating and waterproofing?

A coating goes on an exposed surface, like a roof, deck, or walkway, and has to stand up to sun and traffic. Waterproofing often sits inside the building's assembly, below grade or under a plaza, where it can't easily be reached later. The right answer depends on where water is getting in.

Can a deck or garage stay open while it's coated?

Usually in phases. We plan sections, cure times, and access routes with you so people and vehicles can keep moving.

Is a coating right for our roof?

Coatings work best on roofs that are worn but still sound and mostly dry. A wet or failing roof usually needs repairs or replacement first, and an inspection tells you which you have.
